The week's end

Sadly, there isn't much to report as the end of the week brought a snowstorm.  Thankfully, we have satellite TV to mentally escape.  Enjoy the photos. 

A look out my classroom window at the setting sun on Friday.  The city is in the process of putting up windmills.  Even in the middle of nowhere man made objects find a way to pollute the scenery.  Then again seeing them against the skyline is somewhat soothing. 

When life fills the store's shelf with three artificial Christmas trees priced at $150, the logical thing to is to go out and cut one instead.  It is an alder tree, they grow all over the place here so hacking one down is not a bad thing.

Holy smokes!  It does snow here.  Taken today (Sunday) on the way to the store.  On a positive note the anti-lock brakes on the vehicle function.  Yay for safety features.
