Lazy Weekend

It was a stay indoors and cozy up weekend.  The weather has been rainy and windy.  Just walking next door to the school proved to be a laborious task this afternoon.  The mucky earth was so wet, each step felt like part of a gym routine.

Other than that, not much is going on here.  We have a four day week with the kids followed by an in service on Friday.  Short weeks are tough, but it is our week to go swimming, so that should mellow the kids out.

How the pool schedule here works is that each grade gets a week.  On the elementary side, first grade to sixth grade each have a week long rotation for swimming.  Kindergarten swims every week.  Swimming here in general is fantastic and if I can get science prepped in the morning, and nothing comes up, I will be joining them in the pool.  It is simply awesome.
