Soap dish victory

Goat's milk soap perched on a bed of marbles in a modified styrofoam bowl.  Scent: love.
When my makeshift handmade soap dishes of sticks fell apart, I almost resorted to going online and buying some.  It is a good thing that I did not.

Yesterday I was flipping through a magazine while the kids were in the library reading and found a solution.  Use marbles for drainage.  Viola!  Solved.

My goat's milk soap will live a long life thanks to a library magazine article (McGrath, Mary Kate, and Ashley Niedringhaus. "New Uses for Marbles." Real Simple Life Made Easier. Mar 2011: 45. Print).

Ready for use, the students have two choices, an Alaskan made lemongrass bar or current favorite of the girls, the love scented one.
