Salmonberries

Two one-gallon buckets filled with salmonberries.  The secret to successful berry gathering I found was to blindly walk into the head high bushes and then squirrel downwards to get a view from the ground looking up...  So many berries.

Salmonberries.  To start, I'm going to make jelly and a cream pie.

Salmonberries.  While picking them, I came into contact with Putchki (the nasty plant that causes blisters if bare skin brushes it and then is exposed to sun).  It was hard to move without touching it even with long sleeves.  Hopefully, the bumps forming on my wrist are from prickly salmonberry plants and not the putchki...  They say if you touch it, keep the part out of the sun...  We'll see.
